What surprise. I picked up the last bottle and this is the best beer I have had at BG.

Great presentation on this one with a printed cork and an awesome label. It's something that you could be proud to send in a trade with all the sex appeal going on.
This interpretation of saison is more along the lines of how I like it. I am no fan of sweet saisons at all. To me you just keep 'em funky and earthy and that's what is interesting to me.
This beer follows the whole funky plan. Kind of a biting soil-like earthyness. A bit of leather on there, it seems. Very minimal sweet accents on the back. The soapy aspect saisons or Belgian style ales out of America that drive me insane only shows a real minimal amount and meshes with the rest of the character well.
I am not sure if this interpretation would be for everyone since it leans into the funky territory. But I like it. Probably is a good candidate for aging.
