Bottle shared by Dan at lunch. Pours a cloudy orangey yellow. Full white head. Aromas of pinapple, lemon, urine, light mango. Wonderfully citrusy after a few months still. Taste brings out a slight bubble gum and banana flavor with a quick clean up from the Brett. One of my favorites from BG.

Appearance is spectacular with a giant head that once it rescinds, leaves behind massive sticky lacing
Great in the nose as musty overlaps a creamy natural oil kind of smell (think unscented expensive hand lotion - like with lanolin or something. ....) but not off-puttingly so. Finally, a grainy sweetness finishes on this nose as well.
Listening to this one as well. It crackles vibrantly as if it could care less if I'm listening or not.
Taste is immediately sweet like bubble gum until tart comes in with a peppery accompaniment. The blanket across this entire adventure is a very pleasant bitterness that seems to also have savory qualities intermingled with earthiness and a little lemon zest.
I am not typically a saison fan, but this one is right up my alley. Not too much funk at all, plenty of everything else happening to really make this one stand out.

Insanely good. Awesome hoppy nose. So fruity and complex. Spicy phenols that work with this Australian hop like nobody's business. I could drink this all day. Every day.

Pour is hazed pale golden yellow with a tight white head. Nose is refreshing, lots of fruity esters, faint peppery spice, moderate lemon and citrus, citrusy hops behind. Flavor has more saison character, gets a touch flabby, moderate malt, peppery spice is more pronounced, lemon, fruity esters mid palate and a highly citrus hop in back. Finish is a hint too bitter, gets a little sweet, strong carb and a light refreshing body.

Disclaimer: I am not a Saison guy.
Poured fresh out of bomber bottles.
Look: cloudy, lemony, puffy white 2 finger head
Smell: citrusy, fresh
Taste: lemony tart and sweet
Feel: frothy in a good way
Overall: a fresh tart hoppy saison, too lemony and sweet for my taste

This beer is all about the citrus. Citrus all up in my grill. Smooth tones of it. Very slight floral edge. Mild and appropriate sweetness. Smooth feel. Way too easy to drink. Another home run by BG (though admittedly I am sure it appeals to my palate). Love it.
