Bunches and bunches of hops, not holding any punches on this one. Blockbuster Night Pt. 1 brings the dank thanks to terpenes, the aromatic compound found in cannabis.

We collaborated with Beer Gentleman out of PA, on this danky IPA for Barrel and Flow fest.

Barrel and Flow celebrates Black arts and artists in a dynamic space that highlights the interconnection between music and brewing.

12oz can at share.Hazy golden pour with a thin, white foamy head. Aroma is hoppy, floral and dank. Taste is fruity, citrus backed up by some earthy, dank hoppiness.

Hazy orange to gold, nice fluffy white head. Good retention, layered lacing.
Initial aromas are citrus and dank. Then a bit of peach and wet grass, then more citrus and hints of tropical must? Hmm.At first pretty good. But then I also inhale again, a bit deeper, and get a strangely sharp grass meets chemical coconut note. Going to score nose as a mix of these 2 experiences.
Flavor is definitely more in line with the initial nose, but more subdued. But this time, the peach leads, non-pithy overripe grapefruit juice, apricot nectar comes in, as does some mango. Pretty good.
Mouthfeel is a bit low on the carbonation, medium in weight, and basically a little too relaxed.
Overall, i don't know how much of the interesting notes are due to the "terpenes," but well, OK.

Hazy, orange gold hues. Dank, citrusy, weedy scents. Taste presents with a slightly sweet fruity over a mildly green background. Medium bodied, dry clean finish, subtle alcohol presence. Not bad.

Deep golden and hazy with a thick offwhite head, looks decent. Dank fruity scent on this brew seems interesting, quite peachy. Decently flavor with a bit of a different finish, almost minty. Everything is a bit muted here with a crisp finish. Feeling some hop burn a bit. Not my favorite. Decently carbonated and a bit on the thinner side.

12oz can into a pint glass. Best by 10/26/21, best I can tell.

Looks good in the glass. Dirty peach colored body. Small white head shrinks to a fat ring and faint covering, leaving scattered lacing.

Really interesting aroma. Musty peach, quite strong without being sharp.

On tasting, the dankness takes over and the fruit notes are pushed into the background, only to appear again towards the end. The balance is very nicely done.

Mouth closer to full than medium, finish a mild dank before a smooth fruit ending. Quite warming as well.

Overall, approached this beer with some trepidation, dank not usually being my favorite thing in an ipa. However, the balance here is very good, and so I enjoyed this beer very much.

And no, I haven't been smoking any terpenes.....

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that left a narrow collar around the edge and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of of what I assume to be terpenes are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied, juicy and a bit crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is definitely different compared to other IPAs so if you are looking for something unique to try this will allow you to get your fix on terpenes.
