On tap at brewery:
Clear, white-wine like white/yellow. Light carbonation.
Nose leaves no doubt this is a cucumber beer. But there is a light straw/hay like note behind it.
Still no doubt, cucumber, with skin - that seems to provide a certain bitterness itself. Strong with that flavor, but I sense a decent saison base behind it. Crisp drinking with a little spice bite in the end.
The way it drinks, could've almost gone vegetable beer got the style. It is crisp and tasty, but the "cuke" could be dialed down a notch.
