On draft at the brewery. The current version is 3.8% ABV.
Extra pretty in the golden hour sunlight. Not much head, and what there was disappeared between bar and table. Minor lacing.
Smell offers a hint of Belgian-y banana.
Taste/feel: Really nice. Light in a white wine kind of way. The minimal carbonation contributes to this effect - I swear I saw a bubble in there someplace. The yeast stars here. Without overwhelming in any way, this beer has distinct banana/clove flavors. Early in the glass I was also getting a bubblegum/wintergreen note. There's a tiny bit of tasty funk on the swallow to remind you that this is beer.
Overall: A well balanced flavor and feel. The lightness and low ABV work for it, not against it. I would enjoy several of these during a long dinner with friends.
