Pours a translucent dark orange with a small fluffy head and lots of lacing.

Smells of slightly dank piney hops, citrus and pine apple. Just poured this tastes of hops. After warming for a while the hops diminish and tastes of malt, citrus, pineapple and mango come out. The finish is slightly bitter and boozy.

Medium body and light carbonation. Light dry mouthfeel.

This is a well balanced very drinkable NE IPA.

Poured into a skinny pint glass canned on 12/18/2020. Pours clear orange amber with a 2 finger sticky white head that leaves tons of thick patches of lace with excellent retention. 4.5

Aroma pine, caramel, toffee, peach, mango, and grapefruit rind. 4

Taste follows caramel, toffee, biscuit, mango, peach, pine, and grapefruit really loaded with flavor and fairly well balanced. 4

Mouthfeel is big, plenty of prickly carbonation, a touch dry, and at 9% ABV it goes down plenty easy. 4.25

Overall this is a malty sob with a ton of hops to support it. I still love an old school in your face DIPA when done right. 4

Can states 9% abv.

Pours out a totally clear burnt golden color and dark caramel hues. A thin, off white foam cover forms, then falls and lays out flat and thin.

The hoppy aroma is deep and fresh smelling. Sharp lupilin goodness of freshly picked hop cones, husky, herbal, citric, peppery and fruity. A seriously deep hoppy nose! Lightly toasted and herbal malted grains are detected in a subtle way underneath the fresh hop style aroma.

Oh boy, we have an old school West Coast style DIPA right here folks! Zippy and grainy caramel sweet malt flavors are filled with sweet caramel and toasty dark grains. A bit boozy, which is classic West Coast hop bomb style.
Dry hops, grains and wheat feeling and flavor on the palate before the big malt rolls in. Zesty bite, spicy herbs and huge hops really sets it off!
Fat and fresh hop complexity, malty coloration and a jazzy, yet heady feel makes this one interesting enough to ponder for a while. Relax and sip away.

16oz can 3/28 date. Pours a deep caramel like old school west then has new school haze. Smell is nice caramel sweetness sap like hops. Frim bitternss but little too sweet and come over muddled. This seems like a west coast IPA trying to be NEIPA but does not have the softness of NEIPA nor the dry clean bite of west coast. I

16 oz can into IPA glass. Dated 3/28.19.
Look is fairly cloudy golden orange. Smell is light tropical fruit. Taste follows nose with light fruit on top then dank and piney grapefruit and a little alcohol at end. Feel is light to medium. Overall a nice DIPA that I would drink again.

Canned 1/17/19
Big creamy pillowy head, good retention and lacing, mostly clear slight chill hazed light pale golden color

Nose nice Cascadian base hops, grassy floral citrus, as well as tropical fruits and citrus, orange, mango notes, hint grapefruit, little dank pine too detracted from the rest

Taste mild sweet malts, creamy fluffy, big hops again, but initially dank musty resin, cat pee, mild citrus and mango as will, grapefruit pith, fair bitterness and sweetness with good balance, drier finish

Mouth is med bod, little soft creamy, decent creamy carb

Overall not bad expect the dank musty cat pee from the Simcoe I'm guessing

Canned 11/21/18

Pours a mostly clear honeyed golden copper with ~1 finger of pillowy white foam; solid retention with some great lasting lacing patterns maintaining around the glass.

Aroma showcases a bright, dense hop-malt balance, with the malt coming upfront while a herbal hop presence stands firmly in the background alongside well-integrated citrus notes.

Taste of dank hops meshed with honeyed grapefruit and a flaky malt presence; a fruity, earthy, malty sweetness builds throughout the profile; pretty lasting, easy finish of saturated, sticky sweetness balanced nicely by a drying malt presence.

Mouthfeel glides across the palate with an easygoing medium body and balanced carbonation, with a minimal hop bite lingering in the background and a faint juiciness; sticky, and yet ultimately clean finish.

A bit surprised with the West Coast elements of this one, but they were executed well alongside the juicier elements of your usual NEIPA. A really easy-drinking hybrid kind of IPA at 9%, and with a unique character of hoppy sweetness that has it standing out similar to how a triple IPA might.
