Light and fluffy ROBO-pilsener. 2016 GABF Gold Medalist Classic Pilsner malts give honey and hay notes. A sprinkling of Citra hops lend delicate bitterness and fine, fruity aroma.

From a can dated 09/08/21. Sampled March 18, 2022.

The appearance is about what one should expect from a pilsner with its straw yellow color, bubbly white head, busy carbonation, and good clarity.

Aroma of barley grain, crackers, corn, white bread, and grass. All very well merged together.

Light-medium mouthfeel.

The taste is sweet and grainy with a grassy sensation and a mildly dry finish. Crisp. Clean.

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance - The beer is served a clear golden color with a small head of white foam. The head fades fast leaving a little bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell. The aroma is of grain, honey and a light bread. Along with these smells comes some caramel and a bit of hay and herb
Taste - The taste follows the nose well with a grain and caramel malt and some honey and light herb. The herb is joined by a bit of hay and earth, leaving a nice crisp taste on the tongue.
Mouthfeel - Medium in thickness with a moderate carbonation level. Good for the style and easy drinking
Overall - A nice pilsner. Easy drinking.

Hazy gold with a tall, loose head. Grassy hop nose with a very light hint of lemon. Light-medium pilsner malt body. A little more smooth than crisp. A light, pleasant beer.

Pours golden. Similar aroma to the Světlé Ležák I had previously. It's not bad per se. It's just a very grain in water malt character, not really distinct in any way. Kinda typical American execution without the heft or nuance. Hop character is floral but not really refrshing in any fashion. Again, like the Czech pale, not terrible, but just not good.

Canned 11/24/21

It was nice to finally see some Aeronaut at my local store again. I had my first beer from them nearly a year ago and hadn’t seen anything from them since unfortunately. But, we’re here now, and I’m in the mood for something light, so let’s crack this open

Pours a clear yellow gold with 2 fingers of soapy white head that slowly fades to a thin cap and leaves minimal lacing

For having Citra hops in here, it’s sweeter than I had expected in the nose. I’m picking up on aromas of doughy malt, cereal grain, lemon rind, orange zest, grass, and very light toffee

In taste, the hops make themselves more prevalent, balancing out the (still more than expected for the style) sweetness. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting white pepper, cereal grain, bready malt, lemon zest, and light toast. The swallow brings notes of cereal grain, grassy hops, bready malt, caramel, orange zest, and white pepper

A light medium body pairs with gentle tingling carbonation, resulting in a crisp and refreshing beer. Finishes very dry which thankfully helps with the sweetness

While this is very drinkable, I think the sweetness holds it back too much. Still a good beer, just not great

I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a four sample flight. It poured a clear golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had crisp malt notes with subtle saaz and fruit hop flare. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with subtle grain, earth and fruit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

This one pours a clear yellow-ish color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells a bit too sweet for a pilsners, unfortunately, but there's some good hop character on the nose.

This is a little bit sweet and grainy for my preferences. There's a bready sweetness here, with some fruitiness from the Citra hops. There's not enough bitterness or crispness, in my opinion.

This is light bodied, but not crisp enough. It's still pretty drinkable, anyway.

Perhaps I'm picky with the style, but this didn't do a lot for me.

Pours a light yellow-straw in color with a touch of chill haze and nearly two fingers of dense white head. Aroma is grainy, a little citrusy, and a touch fruity. Taste is like the aroma; the malt character is a mix of bready and grainy with some fruity and citrusy hop notes. Finish is lightly bitter. Medium-light in body with moderately high carbonation. If you’re looking for a classic pilsner then look somewhere else. This is a very tasty and drinkable pilsner-esque lager but with a definite emphasis on the character of the American and new world hops.

Really excellent pilsner here!
Gold with a fine white head.
Smells of bready malts, fruity floral hops.
Tastes great! More doughy grains, sweet touch of honey, citrus and spice from the hops, a bit of grassy hay.
Good feel, full body but a crisp edge and clear finish.
There's many layers here and they're all well balanced. Citra hops may be a bit non-traditional but I love it.

Overall really great, definitely worth picking up and savoring again.

Hmm...
This beer doesn’t taste like Pilsener. There isn’t heft, the deep malt, the traditional fruit nor the bitterness.
Is it a Pilsener? Perhaps not.
Cloudy gold color in a Pilsener glass. 2F head.
Very citrusy lemon aroma/taste. This is not the usual approach.
No dry bitterness in the finish.
It’s a good beer- perhaps a lager?
