A- Tall can pours a hazy golden brew with a tinge of pink to it into my tulip glass. A three finger, thick and creamy crown tops the brew with great retention. Thick webs and sheets of lace stick on the glass.
S- Spicy Saison yeast is immediately apparent with hints of lactic fermentation, cranberry and whole grains beyond that. Peppery with some pale fruit esters.
T- Comes off like a Saison with a tiny bit of sourness and more whole grains. The cranberry is lost here as pepper, coriander, pale fruit esters like pear, whole wheat bread, bay leaf herbal hints and lemon all balance out.
MF- Silky and pillowy body with a medium thickness and a very soft feeling on the palate. High end carbonation is very bubbly and it has a slightly tart finish.
Cranberries are an after thought as the Saison yeast is the dominant factor here with a hint of the kettle souring in the finish.
