West Floridian Quad follows tradition by being a dark crimson ale that pours with a nice lingering head. The aroma is sweet with notes of dark fruits, such as plums, raisins and figs. The flavor follows the aroma with a very mild bitterness that complements the rich dark fruit character. It has a medium body a slight creamy character and finished with some residual sweetness.

Was in the bottle shop not intending to buy a Quad, but stumbled on this gem and decided to give it a try. Very glad I did. Came in a canned 4-pack. There is no date on the can, but underneath is the phrase "Traditionally Inspired". At 55-60 degrees F, a gentle pour into a Bernardus chalice achieved a 1/2 finger light tan compacted head topping a deep amber/ruby brown ale with a nice yeast cloud floating throughout. Light carbonation, and the head dissipated quickly.
The aroma is dark fruits galore, spice, quite yeasty and sweet. This smells wonderful.
The taste follows the aroma. The flavors of plum, fig, raisin and dates, are prominent up front. It's malty sweet, yeasty toward the backend with a balance of coriander, nutmeg, and maybe cardamom spiciness on the finish. Slightly bitter to me, and the finish is balanced and lightly dry. It might not be as complex as some true Belgian Quads may be, but this one holds its own. The mouthfeel is high on the medium chart, smooth, little carbonation. This is a wonderful tasting Quad, brewed not far from me in Ocala FL. I might have to visit this brewery and try some of their other offerings. If you come across this one, I highly recommend a try. Very well done, Infinite Ale Works!

12oz can served in a Hoppin' Frog glass. Canned on 08/01/22. Received from @Mr3dPHD.
Pours a dark, translucent brown with a smallish head and a small quantity of very fine, slow carbonation. Smell is dates or figs, a little on the bitter end of that, as if there's some stem mixed up in there. Sticky toffee pudding, but slightly burnt.
Taste is interesting. Strong on the dates, throws in a bit of molasses (maybe some caramelized molasses), almost makes a bitter taste, but there's a lot of sweetness going on. Booze might be noticeable, but not very.
Mouthfeel is on the light end for the style, not offputting but not quite the heft I was expecting. Overall, quite nice. Now, let's go try the Christmas version...

On draft at PapPo's Pizza. Poured out a dark, dark brown color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of dark cherry, chocolate, molasses and toffee. Sweet toffee, chocolate and tart cherry taste.

Had on tap. Brownish red in color with a small head and some lacing. Smells of grain, plums, brown sugar and spices. Flavors match the smell and it comes together very well. Avb hidden well, very enjoyable.
