Indulge your deepest desires with this barrel-aged Double Chocolate Milk Stout. We start with our beloved Night Terror, a sweet, creamy-bodied beauty, laced with chocolate, lactose, and roasted malts. Then we gave it some alone time in Buffalo Trace Bourbon barrels. The black-as-night beauty that sprang forth is sure to please. Rich and complex, with hints of vanilla, toffee, and candied fruit. But beware of the Night Terror, for once she gets ahold of you, you might not get away. Not that you'd want to.

750ml bottle. Waxed and capped. No dating information found.
Black colored body, with only the thinnest of dark brown back lit edge. One finger of light brown head. Leaves behind webs of lacing.
Aroma of slightly sweet dark roasted malt, with lactose and chocolate. Lurking below is the whiskey barrel with its alcohol.
Taste of slightly sweet malt with chocolate. The barrel note comes in more at the end of the taste profile. The barrel brings in hints of toffee and dark fruit.
Thinner mouth feel. Very smooth texture. Good carbonation.
Enjoyable chocolate milk stout, with a thin body, and a whiskey barrel note this is there but not obtrusive. Okay overall. Easy to drink for its 10%ABV level.

Bought this bottle at the brewery upon release, bought the green label which is aged in buffalo trace barrels instead of the while lable which if i recall was aged in eagle rare.
Look: pours completley black, slick and thick with a tiny, thin head that is immediately dissaptes.
Smell: Sweet and chocolatey aromas, the lactose is defiantely noticable, as is the boozy bourbon, but the later is more faint. Smells so good!
Taste: mirrros aromas, faint bourbon - id say a 2.5 outta 5. Very balanced, yet complex. Pretty chocolatey, which is awesome and again the lactose is noticable but not offensive, which i LOVE cuz im not a fan of the heavy lactose. This i almost perfect in flavors!!
OA; I would absolutely buy this again!!

Sweet, chcolately, and extremely bitter. This beer tastes more like a double IPA instead of a double chocolate milk stout. Very hop resiny. Sticky.
I don't like this at all.
