Undated can; drank 1/26/23 @ Roadrunner Lodge.

Opaque brown appearance.

A rough pour yielded a nice tan head; strong lace.

Coconut & light roast coffee bean notes in the nose.

Sticky medium mouthfeel.

Coconut & light roast coffee bean flavors.

No base beer to speak of, really; pastry gone wrong.

Picked up a can of this at a random liquor store on a work trip the previous month. Had a nice selection, including this beer from 3 Sons. Untapped had it as “A Brown Ale with Coconut and Coffee added. Can you Sentz snow?” Felt nice for a chilly (San Diego chilly) Oct. 16.

Poured a very dark, almost black color with two fingers of frothy dark khaki-tan head. Could see some bubbles creeping up along the sides of the glass. Very good spotty lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.25)

Smelled toasted coconut, caramel, vanilla, hazelnut coffee, sugary milk chocolate syrup and coconut flakes. Les and less artificial each sniff. Not quite as good out of the can. (Smell - 4.25)

Tasted just as good as the nose. In order got toasted coconut, vanilla, hazelnut coffee, caramel and sticky milk chocolate syrup. (Taste - 4.25)

Medium body. Sticky texture. Sort carbonation. Long finish. (Feel - 4.50)

This was an excellent beer overall. I was back and forth on a few categories, and I think I slightly underrated it overall. NOTE: Ended up bumping the overall rating up to a 4.50 and now I feel like I properly rated it overall. (Overall - 4.50)
