Poured at 57.7° Black sludgy body with giant chunks of coconut so big they almost didn’t come out of the bottle; tons of coconut flakes; the second poor glass looked fine; no head, ring nor lace; thin legs at best. Nose is chocolate fudge; coconut; sweet bourbon. Taste follows nose; coffee an afterthought; sweet chocolate finish. Gooey feel, very adjuncty, thick heavy body; light carbonation; very little warmth from ABV. I had a taster of this at the brewery in October 2025 and loved it, now I’m having a hard time getting past the appearance and the sludgy feel.

Look - Pours a super thick syrupy black with no head other than a few enormous dirty bubbles that appear shortly after pouring. Has a thick black lacing when swirled that leaves coconut sediment around the glass.

Smell - Dark chocolate, malt, and light coconut.

Taste - Bourbon, coconut, and coffee. Not nearly as good to me as their Fractional BA Buenas Noches coconut stout.

Feel - Very nicely creamy (though I slightly felt the coconut sediment when sipping).

Overall - A bit disappointing after trying their Fractional BA Buenas Noches coconut stout, but not bad.
