Interesting little beer I picked up on my last trip to Denver. Drank while eating a peach.
Crisp, clean and unspectacular golden appearance. Looks good, nothing special (which is fine).
Smell is pleasant, but very little actual peach to be detected. More of traditional saison-y, farmhouse notes.
Taste is fine. Has an initial tartness that is nice, very little peach (again a little disappointing), and follows the tart with an overwhelming barnyard mustiness. Kind of overdoes it for me.
Mouthfeel is ok. Feels crisp at first and then washes over with a little creamier feel as you taste the mustiness. If this had a little more carb, crispness and tartness to balance the mustiness it would be great.

375 ml bottle
Served in a tulip glass
It is straw colored and hazy. It is topped with a couple inches of white head that leaves little lacing. This saison is not a lively as others. Usually when I pour a saison even a gentle pour yields half a glass of head. A normal pour with this beer only gets a couple inches.
The smell is tart. The peach becomes more noticeable as it warms.
The taste follows the nose. It starts out tart. The peach then comes into play. It seems lacking in the finish with no spiciness. It is more like a grisette than a saison which is still a farmhouse ale as the bottle reads.
Medium mouthfeel with low carbonation
This beer drinks just like the grisette I had a week ago. If not for that, I would think that this is just a flat tasting, unspiced saison, if it is indeed a grisette. It is a refreshing, tart beer. The peaches are a nice touch.
