Deep, semi-unfiltered dark orange body, medium cream head. Nose of toffee and butterscotch, which went very well with the dry taste.
Super wheat in the mouth, very dry, like (dried) hop leaves and a dry wheat cereal. Lightly smokey. Tangy and sharp, and a little oppressive in the mouth. Light body. Thin, tiny cream bubbles mark the carbonation in the mouth, a plus for this brew.
Sampled on-tap at Barclay's on College in da East Bay.
