Picture this - you’re not doing a damn thing. This is the beer that pairs with that. Easy drinking and bursting with citrus fruit, Wicked Easy is a refreshing, kick all the way back, crushable, sippable (is that a word? Is now) go-to when you need light beer big on flavor.
Hops: Cascade, Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe.
IBU: 12

The slightly hazy light golden colored beer pours out into a Duvel glass with 1/2” fluffy white head that recedes slowly to a thin layer of foam on the surface and that leaves behind lots of nice ring of lacing on the sides of the glass. Sipping creates lots of small patches and legs of lacing, some of which side back down to the liquid while others cling to the sides of the glass.
The aromas are light, clean and crisp with some nice tropical citrus, some crackery malt, some floral character and some light grassiness.
The refreshing flavors are much as expected from the nose. There’s some light citrus, some fruitiness and some floral character here along with a bit of sweetness from the crackery malt that is nicely balanced with some grassy bitterness.
The mouthfeel is medium bodied and slightly crisp with the finely bubbled, prickly and persistent carbonation. The ending is dry, clean and both lightly crisp and slightly bitter with the grassy bitterness in the back of the mouth.
Overall I’m enjoying this beer and would gladly have another to follow it. It is well made and I expect to be having more in the future since it is both light in ABV and has some well balanced aromas and flavors that make it easy to drink. This easily drinkable beer might be a particularly nice one to have on offer for a barbecue or backyard party. However, for those who are looking for intensity of flavors, don’t bother with this one.

Pouring a light golden hue with a gentle, slightly hazy appearance, this lager-ale hybrid immediately captures attention with its inviting look. The delicate haze hints at its hybrid nature, bridging the crispness of a lager with the nuanced complexity of an ale.
The aroma opens with a bright medley of hoppy citrus—think zesty lemon and grapefruit—intertwined with soft tropical fruit notes, such as pineapple and mango. These aromas are fresh and lively, yet restrained, avoiding overwhelming intensity and instead offering a balanced, approachable bouquet.
On the palate, the beer delivers a smooth, rounded mouthfeel that speaks to its ale heritage, while maintaining the clean, refreshing qualities of a lager. The low bitterness allows the fruit-forward hop character to shine without any harsh edges, making for a seamless drinking experience.
A thoughtful and well-executed brew, this lager-ale hybrid is a testament to balance and drinkability, appealing to both hop enthusiasts and those seeking a lighter, more approachable beer.

I wish I could undrink this beer. It tastes like an apple-flavored Jolly Rancher that has been sitting at the bottom of some kindly old woman’s pocketbook since 1985. If I wanted someone to wonder what they did to make me hate them, I would serve them this unabashed snake urine. A lot of damage will be done to Samuel Adams’s reputation as an American patriot if he keeps foisting this swill upon the good people of the United States of America.

Samuel Adams have done it. They've created one of the perfect drinking beers. This brew is as advertised and is a "wicked easy" one to get down... not that you'd want to pound it and not savor the delicious citrusy flavors. Love it.

Slightly hazed golden yellow. Substantial white head to a full cap, decent enough lacing all the way to the end. Neutral nose with just a hint of hops. Slightly grassy hops to taste. Creamy mouthfeel, but still thin bodied. Not offensive, but nothing special. Yeah. Easy.

Pours hazy yellow with a small head that lasts a long time, draping the glass in lace. The aroma is of lemon, bready malts, cloves and grains. The taste is malty with light citrus notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The finish is lightly bitter with shortlived citrus notes.
A straightforward lager with a citrusy edge. This would be a great lawnmower beer.
