This beer was brewed to celebrate our Assistant Brewer, Wade, and the arrival of his soon-to-be-born daughter, Clementine, who is hopefully a 2nd generation brewer. This beer was brewed with traditional English malts and hops including Fuggles and East Kent Goldings.

On tap at the Sam Adams Jamaica Plain taproom in Boston, MA.
This one pours a light amber color, with a small white head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like toffee, spice, floral hops, and some light fruitiness.
This isn’t quite as watery as some bitters can be – there’s a nice creaminess and smoothness to this. There’s a nice fruity and floral hop character, with some bittersweet bready malt character.
This is light bodied, creamy, and really drinkable, with a nice smooth finish.
I like this style, but there aren’t a lot of good options available from American breweries. Luckily, this is a pretty solid take, which was unexpected.
