On tap at the brewery. Excellent saison! Everything's right on the money here, aroma, taste, mouth feel, finish. A new favorite. This brewery promised to do lots of saisons, but this is the only one so far. They need to do more....

Draught tonight at the brewpub.. I have had this one more than a few times now and want to like it much more than I do. Pours a hazy pale golden with a nice white head with good retention and lacing.
Belgian bones are there, but it is a phenolic clove bomb.. Given blind, I would guess a German Hefe 100% of the time.. Not sure what else to say.. Seems a bit sweet and the body is also a touch too much for a standard saison.
Something funky with the fermentation temperatures I guess is what is responsible for the overwhelming clove aroma and flavor.. Could be worse for sure, but needs dialed down to be close to a proper saison.
