A gentle grisette. Billowy Looks. Medley of Smells from fruit to herbs to spices to more than some wheat. Integrated into a Taste. We are dealing with a low ABV, so a modest mouthfeel... but pleasant and gentle. I hope to have this with a summer lunch. (Judging from their website, SloMo is a re-release from a 2014 introduction.)
This is my second from Oedipus and didn't review the brewer the first time... I want to have more from them because I am currently quite far from figuring them out. They are geographically close to Belgium, but both ales I Had are pretty far away. My early guess is that Oedipus does not have the Belgian Way of Yeast yet. (But that is true of many young brewers, near or far.) But that is just a preliminary judgment that I hope to improve on.
I went on the Oedipus website and I do not think that I have ever seen such a fanciful and elaborate site from a brewer. I'm glad that they dedicate lots of thought to how their ale pairs with food. And I intend to do more of that.

Light sunny yellow with a modest head but very nice lacing. Smell of grain, pine, yeast, grass and flowers. Quite some aroma here, considering its low abv. The taste has the same flavours but is less intense. It just doesn't have enough intensity in the mouth. It has a very nice mildly bitter earthy aftertaste though, that lingers very well. Sadly, the mouth feel is what you would expect from a low abv beer: watery, way too watery.

Hazy yellow color with white head. Aroma is mostly yeasty with floral and grassy notes and some sweet wheat malt in the background. Taste is also yeasty but not too intense. Slightly metallic and watery. Light body, medium carbonation. Overall it's a really easy drinking saison but it's really watery and kind of bland.

straw yellow and murky, very temporary white head.
nose give typical Saison yeast aromas of phenols and coriander plus some sweet pale malt
Taste is rather unremarkable, watered down Saison describes it best. however with an abv of just 3.5% this is acceptable. ends nicely dry and bitter
raher thin body and some well integrated fine but agressive carbonation
Nice session saison for the very hot times. They seem to have dialed this in over the years.
