Rustic, West Coast-style IPA that’s intentionally cloudy to maximize the juicy, citrus-forward hop aroma & flavor. Dry hopped at a rate of 3 lbs per barrel with Simcoe, Citra, and Chinook hops.

Did anyone ever know how to play this game? Anyhoo, pours that copper color indicative of a slightly maltier than their average ipa. Maris Otter in an American ipa, what a time to be alive. 1/3" white head.
The aroma pops heavy on the hops. I thought it was a nice medley of those icy Simcoe trees and Citra orange groves. The maltiness took an appropriate shotgun seat and let the hops shine for the most part.
The taste brought in the barleywine like heft of the Maris Otter hop. Come to think of it, its funny how much Don't Drink Beer blew up and this place fell off despite his free contributions to it no longer being welcome. Sting Me was a song from the Black Crowes. This beer absolutely is everything they intended, a beefy barley ipa and it is pretty good for being a style that is kind of not trendy right now. For me, its better to rock a more C hop traditional malty boi like Sierra Nevada does. But all in all its still a good beer, but be aware its about the maltiest ipa out there these days.

This was a true surprise, as I’ve had so many WC IPAs over the years and this was described as “rustic” so I didn’t have hope…but wow this was delicious. Had to get a second pint. Great body, hop flavors on point, and easy drinking.

Pours a fairly clear orange with soapy head.
Smell is juicy wit notes of mango, passionfruit and citrus with hints of cat pee and onions.
Taste is crisp and juicy with some bite to it. Notes of citrus, passionfruit, pine and a hint of onion. Moderate bitterness and a clean finish.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a nice, subtle west coast IPA.

This is an all around great west coast IPA. It is almost a throwback to days yore in this day and age of hazy ipas. Bracingly bitter with a fresh burst of dank piney goodness. Delicious.

Huge thanks to Jay for this gem!
Beautiful, Minesweeper is. That golden glow and foamy white head. The pretty good clarity says I'm thirst quenching AND unfiltered. The spotty lacing is humble and just right.
And then you smell it. The explosion if grapefruit and orange citrus, peach and mango, a touch of pine, and the beach. My beach at least.
A slightly updated profile includes honeydew melon and guava. The citrus aspect takes on a more clementine tangerine like flavor in the middle, as it oozes a bit more acidity. And only a touch of pine to accent the faint grainy sweetness as they walk together into the sunset.
This feels nice. Smooth, a little tingle from the juice as well as the carbonation, and more balanced than a classic in your face bitter as hell West Coast IPA. Still slightly favors the bitter side, but not in abundance.
A solid modern "West Coast" IPA. I still kind of hate the term despite my love of the style. It's just a damn good IPA, and more importantly a damn good beer. I'd drink this all day, every day. Cheers!
