Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery Willi Beecher glass
A: Pours golden orange amber with a slight chill haze and a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Citrus zest, followed by resinous spicy pine, herbal slightly earthy notes, underlying tropical and stone fruit, held together with lightly toasted bready malt.
T: Big spicy resinous pine, some citrus that slowly comes out of hiding to take a bigger role, grapefruit, lemon, and a hint of tangerine, underlying tropical and stone fruit, pineapple, apricot, mango, peach, passion fruit, and papaya, earthy herbal notes that hit hard on the first few sips but fall back a bit as it warms, Idaho 7 black tea, slightly toasty bready malt, and a bone dry finish.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, properly crisp.
O: This was a wild ride. The first couple sips were a genuinely rough mix of pine, tea, and overripe fruit, but after a while it opened up into a genuinely nice Westy. Definitely not what I was expecting given the previous glowing ratings, but it's still solid.

West coast IPA por vida!
Pours clear, golden tan, no hint of haze. Low aroma but bursting with flavor. It pops, crisp and clean. Touch of pine, mellow fruitiness, delicious all around. Yum!

The best WC IPA so far this year. I usually prefer more bitter IPAs, but this makes up for it with a great juicy and floral profile, on both the nose and the taste. Slight hint of alcohol on the warming brings it down just a tiny notch for me, but otherwise fantastic, as expected from Alvarado St. Wholeheartedly recommended!

L: Pretty clear gold honey with a very little head that left very little lacing.
A: Bright citrus and stone fruits, little bit of dank and grassy hops. Great West Coast aroma blend.
T: The strong fruit/pine/dank you want from your West Coast IPA. Great blend. Simcoe lovers will really love this for sure.
F: Medium, very refined feel all the way around, which is what you'd expect from ASB. Solid but restrained bitterness, very clean finish.
O: Top shelf West Coast IPA from ASB. Bright and lively. Wonderfully balanced and easy drinking.

Stunning west coast IPA! Incredibly balanced, so easy to drink this. Biscuity malt, bold and bitter hops, a bit of fruity hop character to pair with the bitterness and semisweet malt. Really damned good...

Fresh can poured into fluted snifter.
Look is orange tinted straw with big bubbled foamy pure white head.
Citrus, citrus juice, orange peel and some piney resins in the aroma.
Juicy and bitter. Orange and lemon zest, rind and juice. Big grapefruit bitterness.
Moderate carbonation and medium body.
Big bitterness keeps the juice in line and keeps this one west coast all the way.
