From a 2017 bottle! Sweet, smoked oak barrel and berry tart nose on this one! Taste follows with a well-balanced and subdued tart berry finish...hints of oak barrel smokiness in there. This is great!

This is the best of the three beers that I've had in this series. The color is a darker shade or red than I expected since the Raspberry sour that they did was so light. The nose is full of fruit reminiscent of blackberries. The flavor profile really shines. It's like a hybrid of blackberry and cranberry with more fruit character than the others in the series. It also has a fuller mouthfeel than the others as well, which is impressive because it's only 4.7%. That rounds out everything pretty well. This is a really nice beer and worth seeking out.
