Ladies & Gentlemen....we just paid the Palapa contractor. The Palapa piper, so to speak. The dream is a reality. We will no longer be exposed...to the elements! This foggy juice has been built up with two expressive yeast strains for extra tropical vibes, and then reinforced with heavy additions of Blanc, Azacca, Idaho 7, Loral, and touch of Mosaic cryo.

Hazy golden with off-white head. Aroma is quite malty with resiny hops and orange rind. Taste is quite bitter with grapefruit notes and hop resin. Medium body and carbonation. Decent but quite old school.

This hazy pale yellow beer has a terrific sweet papaya smell, backed up by bubble gum, but not in a Belgian yeast way - just a really sweet kind of thing. Taste follows along in a sweet, juicy way until just a touch alcohol taste creeps in but not off puttingly so. Finishes just a little hot with some back of the throat heat before a solid bitter aftertaste takes hold. Medium bodied beer that seems to drink maybe just a touch heavier than expected.

Pale gold and cloudy beer with a fluffy white head. The aroma is mainly pineapple and pine with some sweet malt, mango and papaya. Tastes sweet with caramel, pineapple, and mango up front. Nice piney, bitter finish.

Pours a orange/golden color. Quite murky. The head is 2 finger, white, frothy, and has good retention. Some lacing on the glass.
The nose has got some citrus in it from the hops. Pineapple seems to me to be the aroma.
Taste - Fairly mellow up front, then the hops kick in on the backside. I get a nice juicy - pineapple - hop flavor in my throat.
Feel - full bodied. Hops do linger in my palate. There's a bit of a creamy feeling to this beer. I don't notice the alcohol much.
Another delicious IPA. Smooth, delicious. Nicely hopped, but not too extreme.

This pours a hazy brown-tinged yellow, with an aroma that calls to mind lemon peel and a hint of papaya. Tastes good, at first, with that citrus hop note but finishes off. White grape meets licking envelopes, if that makes sense.

Canned 10/02/18.
L: Pours hazy straw yellow in color. Formed a bubbly 2 finger cap with nice retention.
S: Smells of pineapple, orange, mango, lemon and grass on the nose. Smells very tropical and inviting.
T: Full on pineapple, mango and grapefruit flavor. Finish is grassy with mild hop pine. Residual flavor is citrus sweetness and some booze. Very nice juicy flavor.
F: Light bodied and thin. Moderate carbonation for the style. It doesn't have a bad feel, just isn't up-to-par with other ASB offerings.
O: Super enjoyable. The juice presence is spot-on with this beer. I am very glad to have tried, and would recommend. Cheers!

L - huge, bright white cloud-like head atop an appealing orange juice body.
S - papaya, mango, pineapple, grapefruit, herb. So tropical!
T - follows the nose. Tropical fruit for days. Middle turns a little sweet and sour. Acidic lime mixed with a candied-fruit sweetness. Low bitterness. Moderate-low sweetness. Low booziness.
F - medium body and carb.
O - love the smell and initial taste on this one, but the sweet/sour middle detracts a bit.

Palapa pours a bright and murky orangish color with a small white-ish head that quickly dissipates, leaving no lacing. The smell contains tropical and citrus, a virtual juicy bomb containing pineapple, orange and a hint of sweet melon. Taste is big on juicy, both tropical and citrus and inviting as the aroma. The sweet melon kicks in midway through with a low hop characteristic that finishes and light and dry.
