I didn't know this was an adjunct lager, couldn't tell from drinking it. This was a single can Berkeley Bowl acquisition.
Pours yellow into a Marquette basketball 100th anniversary pint glass. Cool label with some wolves or dogs (dags). Sofas and cushions. Lacks clarity, looks almost like a hazy ipa, 3/4" loose bubbled head. It not a particularly attractive looking beer, and that is including the bump for the label.
The aroma hits like an IPL, Big Citra, Mosaic tandem giving the usual berries, tangerine and weedish smells. Not scoring a yeast of lager dimensions in the nose, this is about the hops apparently.
The taste is nice, it does hit some of that pilsner malt, but whatever the adjunct is (corn?) I just can't tell. Hops continue to bang away, the Cascade and/or Centennial give an almost perfect degree of balanced bitterness with proprietary tropical and citrus impact from the newer hops. The beer does the hops well. Mouthfeel is sawft more than crisp.

Hoppy lagers are all the vogue now and this refreshing treat from AS does not disappoint. Bright yellow golden on the pour with a lingering thin lacy effervescence. Meyer lemon citrus on the nose and palate.
Outstanding hoppy/aal brew!

Almost clear pale yellow brew with plenty of foam in the pint shaker. It's supposed to be brewed with Centennial, Citra, and Mosaic hops, but not really enough to call it a hoppy lager. I think it's an American Pale Lager rather than an adjunct. It does have a touch of herbal, flowery hops but only hints at the possibility of bitterness.
This is a gulpable light brew, neither flavorful not fizzy. Better than a lot of light lagers, but not worth the craft beer price. From the 16 oz can purchased at Healthy Spirits in San Francisco.

Can of unknown age into a pilsner glass.
L: Pours bright white golden with 1 finger of low density head with moderate retention and left no lacing.
S: Bright mostly grainy nose, hints of lemon hiding underneath.
T: Follow the nose to a good degree but with much greater citrus/lemon prominence. Finishes with just a hint of astringency, clears palate quickly.
F: Low-medium bodied with moderate carbonation, lively on the tongue and crisp on the finish.
O: Is this one of the best AAL that I've had, absolutely. Was it worth the price tag, absolutely not. I'd happily grab again on draft, but wouldn't ever pay packaged price for this really nice AAL.

Ok, so I bought this beer from Berkeley Bowl grocery store off the shelf litterally as an impulse buy because the label art was so awesome, didn't even look up the style or brewery or nothing. Absolutely delicious AAL and probably the best for this style I've ever had to be honest.

Pours a clean pale yellow with some fine, wispy foam.
Smell is slightly sweet with notes of corn and knäckebröd and a slight, slight hint of something floral.
Taste is pretty clean, if a little bit buttery. Sweet malt, corn, honey and some floral notes. Very easy to drink, of course.
Mouthfeel is thein, but pretty soft, well carbonated.
Overall, a difficult beer to rate. On one hand it is very good for what it is. On ter other, it's crazy expensive for what it is. So, discounting price, this is a very good pale lager.
