Sweet trop-hoppy nose on this one...hints of subdued dankness are hanging around the aromatics as well. Nice notes on the nose, but they don't jump out at you. The taste follows close with an orange-juicy, citrus-bitter finish. It has great depth for a single, but lacks a bit in the mouthfeel department...at least, initially. But, this quickly improves and actually gets a lot better as it warms! This is another one that is actually better out of the can for me! Good!

Canned 01 Oct, picked up at ABV.
A hazy light orange with a white head that falls off rapidly leaving little lacing this looks decent. The nose is rather massively fruity with passionfruit, papaya, mango, tangerine and Clementine. There's a very soft dough note present. A touch of ripe nectarine is present as well. The palate opens bright and quite clean. Fruit juice but clean, with a nice bright blend of passionfruit, papaya, a little green grape, a little nectarine and a nice, clean Clementine/ mandarin brightness. The mid palate is smooth; the inclusion of oats in the grain bill lends a delicate sweetness and a nice body. Fruity on the finish, this beer is medium light in body and moderately carbonated. A hair overcarbonated? All told, quite delicious, if pricey

West coast nails the look on this, murky yellow brown with a massive white head. Nose is a little muted but what pops through is both mango-y as well as a little alcohol sharp. Taste follows suit, touch sweet tangerine, mango but finishes with some heat.

Update: 7/17/19 release, consumed 7/23/19
Drastically improved the feel - smooth, soft, creamy without the burn.

Pours hazy & cloudy straw color with an inch head that left little lacing. Citrus & tropical fruit aroma, taste is a bit less defined fruity. Very expressive yeast for real with a light bit of burn. Feel is pretty full for a regular-level IPA, smooth, good carbonation, low bitterness.
Overall an interesting, definitely yeast-driven IPA that's worth a try.
