Collaboration with Great Notion Brewing
Collaboration Milkshake IPA with our Portland dudes, Great Notion! We've loaded up this juicy hop concoction with Nelson, Citra cyro, Simcoe and a hint of Eureka to bring the dank fire and set the stage for "Northern Lights" terpenes. The result is surprisingly a bright citrus and perfumey honeydew melon character, pairing perfectly with added creaminess from milk sugar and raw oats in the grist.

Canned on 11/06/18.
L: Pours a hazy bright golden yellow in color. About a finger of a frothy white head with little lacing. The color is my favorite amongst NEIPAs.
S: Loads of tropical fruits on the nose with generous amounts of pine and grapefruit. This thing smells awesome. Just a tad of sweetness from the lactose.
T: Full of passionfruit, peach, guava, pineapple, grapefruit and lemon flavor. A nice bitter hoppy finish with lingering notes of pine. The lactose sweetness is defined but is counteracted well with the hop profile.
F: Medium in body and weight with moderate carbonation. Not the softest NEIPA but still embodies a fantastic feel.
O: My favorite so-called "milkshake" IPA. The flavor profile on this thing is off-the-charts. I am very grateful to have tried again. I love trying new beers, but damn I wish I had more of these. Cheers!

Poured hazy, cloudy, murky dirty straw with a tiny head that left very little lacing.
Fantastic, best milkshake IPA I've had by far. Incredible fresh, danky floral/herbal/weedy aroma and taste with a nice, complementary fruity balance. Feel is medium, smooth, creamy, low bitterness and low carbonation. I'm just completely blown away.
