Kettle Sour Ale with Pineapple, Orange, Coconut & "Northern Lights" terpenes. Probably the closest thing to a tiki cocktail we can make a beer taste like. Slurp Terps!

16oz can poured into a tulip
A- pours a clear golden color with a one finger foamy white head that has short retention
S- toasted wheat, lacto tartness, shredded coconut, hint of citrus
T- slightly tart up front with coconut flavor popping through, followed by light undertones of citrus and pineapple. The finish is semi-dry, tart and lingers of coconut and toasted wheat
M- light body with moderate carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and a semi-dry finish
O- coconut leads the way, tart and refreshing

Canned 12/21/18. Had just a taste a couple months back and remembered it being coconut overload. Let's see how it is now.
L: Looks like a WCIPA. Clear, amber and enticing. A finger of head that didn't stick around long. No trances of lacing.
S: Coconut and pineapple detectible with pronounced tart aspect.
T: Tons of toasted coconut flavor. Present from start to finish. At first, the flavor is all coconut, then the cascade of the tart pineapple and orange come through. Finish is semi-dry with lingering flavors of coconut and orange. The tartness of the beer keep it in balance.
F: Light in body and weight. Moderate carbonation for the style. At 5.5abv, no abv is detectible (as expected).
O: An enjoyable beer. This is a perfect example of a novel brew- something new and different and is well implemented. Though I would not want to drink this daily or often, I am thoroughly enjoying it. I am very grateful to have tried. Cheers!

Look: Semi-hazy light amber color, about a finger of non-uniform white cap, average head retention, zero lacing.
Smell: Lots of pineapple and coconut (as advertised), some orange is noticeable if you pay attention. Fairly strong aroma on this beer, quite pleasant.
Taste: Follows the nose with tons of coconut and pineapple. Oranges are discernible on the back end. A bit of some tart aftertaste. Feels a tad artificial. I'm not getting anything from the supposedly used terpenes, so I will knock it for that as well.
Feel: Light to medium body, high carbonation.
Overall: This release has already gotten some hate, so I wanted to try it asap. It's not bad, as long as you like all of the included adjuncts. I can see how it would be VERY polarizing though. The taste does remind of a piƱa colada. This is not a "beer" you can drink a lot of, but on the level of a single can, it's tasty.
