Pours a hazy light orange with high, airy head.

Smell is juicy and fruity with notes of fruit punch, honeydew melon and pineapple.

Taste is fruity and juicy with note sof orange, nectarine and melon. Almost slightly tart with a very soft bitterness and clean, dry finish.

Mouthfeel is medium, with a bit too much carbonation.

Overall, a very nice, drinkable IPA, slightly overcarbonated though.

16 oz. can. Hazy bright orange with a huge head. Smells of pineapple, intense fruitiness, grainy malt, and some acidic fruits. Strange aroma. Tastes sweet throughout. Sweet citrus and bright tropical fruits. Sweet pale malt. The back end gets deeper, more oniony, and earthier. Sweet grainy malt. Medium body. It's different. I think it's yeast that gives it that intense fruitiness and earthy back end. It almost has a bubble gum flavor, but falls just short. Either way, it's a slight change of pace for a hazy IPA, but still aggressively sweet, so yeah.

From tasting notes 02/24/19
Had on tap at Round Table Clubhouse in Citrus Heights, CA

Appearance - Served up in a 16oz snifter, hazy and faded yellow with a thin ring of suds around the edge of the glass. Fair lacing, with some broken webbing and small spotting decorating the glass.

SmellĀ  - Citrusy aroma with notes of tangerine, grapefruit, and 'white wine' fruitiness; pear, grape skin, passionfruit.

Taste - Follows the nose. White, juicy fruitiness from start to finish. Tangerine, white grapefruit, green grape, pear, passionfruit and a hint of pineapple. Finish is mildly bitter with pith.

Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with fair, bitey carbonation. Slick texture makes this an easy drinker before a crisp, mostly dry finish.

Overall - White fruitiness galore. If you like your hazies with some white wine qualities, this is a must try.

Canned 2/5/19. Served from a can and consumed from a 16oz pint glass.
L: Pours that milky, hazy and bright yellow color that I absolutely love in NEIPAs. This is something that ASB seems to nail, at least in terms of color. The beer is completely opaque with zero transparency. A standard pour yielded about 3 fingers of a loosely packed stark white cap that dissipate quickly. Minimal lacing on glass, but that color brings the rating from 4 to 4.25.
S: Loads of tropical and stonefruit on the nose. Bubblegum is also evident as well as a pronounced sweetness. Yeast presence is abundant, which is typical in ASB offerings.
T: Fantastic. The bubble gum sweetness and yeast biscuity flavor provides the foundation from which the flavors are built upon. The layers of fruit flavor start with orange, passionfruit and grapefruit, then transcends to apricot, peach, pineapple and berry. The finish is very bubble gummy with aftertaste of lemon and crackery yeast. Generous hop bite at the finish as well. As far as I am concerned, this is stellar.
F: Medium in body, light to medium in weight. Moderate amounts of carbonation. Not smooth and creamy, but retains a nice heft on the palate.
O: This beer is great. For Monkish fans, this beer is perhaps the closest thing to Monkish that I have tried. It is juicy with bountiful underlying yeast and a slight hop bite at the end. I am thoroughly enjoying this. I am very grateful to have tried. Cheers!
