An Imperial Milk Stout built around bon bons. You know, the little ice cream bites with the chocolate shell? To replicate the experience, we've used a not-so-small amount of Ecuadorian cacao nibs and the finest vanilla we could procure in the body of an elevated milk stout.

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of foam. It left sudsy lacing on the glass. It smelled of sweet caramel, vanilla, rich chocolate and toffee. This is a very sweet beer. I guess there was bon bon taste. Vanilla, toffee, caramel and rich chocolate taste.

Canned 2/7/19. I have really enjoyed many offerings from this series thus far, and I am very excited to try this one.
L: Pours a dark cola brown color and settles near black. No head formation and hardly any lacing.
S: Aromas of chocolate, molasses, nutmeg and roasted malts. Nice smelling once it comes to temp, but you really need to shove your nose in to pick anything out.
T: Follows the nose but with a greater emphasis on the milk sugar. The lactose is rather prevalent, providing a milky, sweet foundation to the flavor complexity. Chocolate, molasses and butterscotch are also noticeable. The flavor is there in terms of a desert stout. I wish I got more vanilla, and the booze flavor should be scaled back. I can tell this beer is 10% abv, and it is holding the flavor back.
F: Thin in body but has a heavier, medium weight. Booze definitely noticeable. The beer is too thin for a beer of this stature, but it isn't terrible. Thankfully the carbonation is on the lower side of moderate to salvage the feel a bit. Initially it feels nice, but it just comes across thin.
O: It is a nice tasting beer and worthy of a try. I wish the booze wasn't as noticeable, but it is very enjoyable nonetheless. If you're partial to sweeter stouts, you'll like this. I am very glad to have tried. Cheers!

Canned 2/7/19, consumed 3/2/19
Pours oily brown, black in the glass with a small light tan head that quickly dissipated, decent ring of retention and a little bit of spotty lacing.
Aroma of toasted malts, vanilla, cacao, and an overwhelming blanket of sweetness from all the lactose. Aside from the sweetness, pretty basic for an imperial stout.
Taste follows, certainly very sweet and dessert-like, pretty much in line with eating a whole bunch of bon bons.
Feel is smooth & creamy, medium, wish it was a touch thicker, some decent bitterness, but mainly this thing is sweet.
Overall, decent stout that hides it's ABV but comes far over-the-top on sweetness.
