Canned 4/1/19, consumed 5/24/19
Pours black & oily, minimal head with very low retention, little spotty lacing.
Heavy, thick sweet smell of hazelnuts and vanilla, background notes of toasty malts and coffee. Like some Nutella.
Taste has more of the coffee, very sweetly flavored with the hazelnuts and vanilla.
Feel is smooth & creamy with minimal carbonation, alcohol masked behind an undeniable level of sweetness. Medium, I'd probably like it to be just a bit heavier in body.
Overall, solid variant in ASB's Motor Oil line. I really liked the maple syrup one; this one is just a tad on the sweet side. All of the aromas/flavors are very well done and meld together nicely.

Wow! This one is incredible. I've had the No. 1,2, and 3 variations on this, and this one is the best. For an 11.5 ABV beer, there is quite literally zero alcohol burn. The adjuncts of Vanilla, Coffee, and Hazelnuts blend together beautifully. For me, the coffee is especially prevalent and tastes delicious. Vanilla and Hazelnut is like a ribbon from start to finish. Great mouthfeel. Nothing artificial or overly sweet. A real treat.
