L: Hazy bright yellow in appearance. No head from the pour, and no lacing. Color-wise it looks nice.
S: Pineapple, orange, starfruit, pomegranate, lemon and lactose on the nose. It smells sweet and semi-tart. No mention of lactose on the can, but it smells like it may be involved.
T: Very bright, sour and sweet. Upfront, I get a fair amount of citrus fruits, namely lemon and orange. Halfway through, I'm hit with flavors of pineapple and melon, with a tart/sour flavor at the finish reminding me of green apple. The more I drink it, the increasingly sweet it becomes, but the sour aspect does counter balance that effect.
F: Light in body and in weight with moderate carbonation. Smooth and easy to drink but nothing to write home about with the feel.
O: It is an enjoyable beer, especially as far as sour ipas go. I am not partial to the style, but this is definitely drinkable.I am glad to try, though I do not feel the need to try again. If you're a fan of the style, it would be worthy of a try. Cheers!
