16oz can picked up at Belmont Station in Portland, OR; first from Alvarado Street
Poured into a Solera nonic pint
P- hazy orange w/ a 2f fluffy white head; recedes to a nice cap
n- med aroma of orange peel, spicy yeast, subtle melon, and earthiness
t- wow- big candied orange & sweet tropical notes over soft biscuity malt; light leafiness in there as well; moderate peel bitterness in the finish (more bitterness than anticipated for style, which isn't necessarily bad); some banana notes came out as I drank; tasty profile for sure
mf- med-full bodied w/ a high carb level
o- a nicely-crafted and unique IPA; happy to have tried it!

Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy light tan head that hangs around, slowly settling to a thick layer and leaves some thick lacing.
S: Tropical and stone fruit, melon, citrus, spicy pine, grassy herbal notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Spicy pine, tropical fruit, pineapple, passion fruit, apricot, papaya, and a hint of melon, citrus, lemon, lime, and grapefruit, grassy herbal notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate, but a bit of hop burn.
O: Good beer for a good cause that falls somewhere between a juicy IPA and a NE style. Hop burn drops it a notch for me.

L: Hazy yellow with an overall nice appearance. Looks a touch less hazy compared to other ASB offerings. The pour yielded about 2 fingers of a fluffy white cap that displayed decent retention. Mild in terms of residual lacing.
S: Yeast dominates with hints of lemon, tangerine, strawberry and orange.
T: As the nose would lend, yeast is extremely the element that is hogging the stage. Present from start to finish. CItrusy with notes of pineapple, papaya and apricot also resonate with lemongrassy and yeasty biscuity aftertaste.
F: Light in body and in weight with moderate carbonation. Feel simple and enjoyable with no booze flavor.
O: At first, I was not the biggest fan of the flavor this beer brings. However, the more I have the more acquainted I become and enjoy it more. Initial rating was around 3.75 but it is coming out to just shy of 4 now towards the finish. If you're not a fan of yeast-driven NEIPAs, this is not the beer for you. In fact, it, at least as I am perceiving it, is one of the yeastiest ASB offerings I've had in a while. Regardless, I am enjoying it and am glad to have tried. Cheers!

Sweet, tropical, dank hoppy nose! Taste follows with a lighter-bodied, trop-hoppy dankness. The dank notes and hoppy bitterness go together well on the finish. It starts to change into a grapefruit-like citrus bitterness as it warms a bit. It has nice depth and feel for a single...this is just a smooth and enjoyably dank hazy! Good!

Nice strong aroma on this one, great blend of fruity/ultra danky hops. Taste pretty much follows suit. Has that full, creamy mouthfeel that Alvarado Street has locked down. Terrific DDH hazy that's up with the better ones from ASB.
