You all seemed to enjoy Nelson, Baby! quite a bit, so once we were able to lock in some Galaxy, this was a no brainer. Same recipe, just 100% Australian Galaxy hops, known for their high oil content and prominent flavors & aromas of passionfruit and citrus.

Great NE style IPA. This one is smooooooth. It's a great balance of juice & hops. Not too sweet, not too bitter. Feel is Low carbonation and dry. This beer is one of my favorites from Alvarado because it's just so damn drinkable.
Pro-tip: go to Alvarado Carmel, get a 4 pack and enjoy on the beach (may be illegal but idk I'm not a cop).

Pours a foggy yellow. Head is two fingers of white foam. Aroma is guava, papaya, grapefruit, and earthy hops that is strong enough to send a little citrus pulp to the back of the nostrils. Flavor profile is grapefruit, papaya, tangerine, orange, and lemonzest. Hop burns comes on mild at the end, but lingers a long while. It's tropical fruits through and through, though. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a soft, velvety texture. Overall, rich with smooth citrus, but nothing beyond that.

Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy eggshell white head that hangs around, slowly settling to a firm layer and laces very nicely.
S: Tropical and stone fruit, underlying citrus, faint grassy herbal notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Mix of tropical and stone fruit with citrus, orange, mango, apricot, peach, passion fruit, and a hint of strawberry, slightly grassy, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: Was expecting a stronger hit of passion fruit from a 100% Galaxy IPA, but it's hard to be upset with a peach, orange, and mango smoothie.

L: bright yellow hazy with 2 fingers of head. Gorgeous color that ASB does well.
S : honey, citrus and peach with grass
T: tons of pithy citrus with bubble gum, strawberry and lemongrass at the finish. Signature yeast flavor carries over to Aftertaste
F: medium in body and light in weight. Smooth and enjoyable with moderate carbonation
O: a very enjoyable brew from ASB. Love the AbV range and the flavor. Still prefer Nelson Baby to it, but this is still great. I am very glad to try. Cheers!

Solid overall. You definitely get the oil from the hops coming through in the feel, but it doesn't overwhelm. Very drinkable. Never gets too bitter. One will do ya.

Sweet, tropical, and almost peachy, hoppy nose! Taste follows with a juicy, hoppy bitterness that is prominent. Took me a few sips to try and figure out the bitterness notes...when it is right out the fridge, I get citrus bitterness...but when it warms that peachy-tropicalness starts to come out. This has outstanding depth and a delicate soft feel to it that almost lasts throughout the swallow...but gives in to the bitterness on the finish. Really good!

Looks like pineapple juice with a finger-sized head that left some spotty lacing.
Pretty fantastic representation of the citrus/tropical/stonefruits aroma of Galaxy hops.
Taste has more pungent fruity hop flavor, feel is so smooth with perfect body and terrific supporting low bitterness.
ASB has the recipe down with this series, ready for more!
