Another crispy lil' West Coast nugget that's low in alcohol (for an IPA) with a bright, bold hop bouquet courtesy of Strata, Mosaic & Simcoe. Dry & moderately bitter, designed for palate preservation and outdoor shenanigans with your crew.

Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery beer glass
A: Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with a frothy eggshell white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Citrus, kinda grassy, light tropical and stone fruit, pine, crackery slightly biscuity malt, and a touch of sweetness.
T: Bright citrus, lemon, grapefruit, and lime, light tropical and stone fruit, passion fruit, apricot, peach, and a faint guava, a hint of berries, some mild pine, slightly grassy, crackery malt, and a touch of sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, rather crushable.
O: I've come to appreciate how drinkable Alvarado Street "West Coast" style IPAs are. That said, I still wouldn't mind a little more bitterness.

Lonely and dreaming of the west coast
A clear gold, resembling something akin to IPAs circa 2010. Oh yes. Strata hops? I like the aroma, nothing assertive but clearly hopping. Spicy kick on the palate, with a earthy hop character. Soft, pillowy finish. Some residual minerality. Easy drinker, approachable and delicious.

16 oz. can. Clear golden orange. Smells of slight dank hops, grapefruit, and sweet melony hops. Tastes of grapefruit hops, sweet caramel, sweet tropical fruit hops, and tempering pine bitterness. Medium body. Slick mouthfeel that made me think butter for a moment, but it's clean. It's been a long time since I've had a good West Coast IPA. Very nice and a nice return to something that tastes like real beer.
