We're calling this a "Resplendent" Double IPA because of it's sumptuous flavors and vivid aromatics through the experimentation of cold fermentation and biotransformation of hop oils. It has more of a West Coast-style hop derived haze in the visual sense, but we can say for certain it's one of the more flavor-concentrated hoppy beers we've made. Double dry hopped with Simcoe & Mosaic!

Pours clear, just like how I remember they used to make them. This has a light aroma while cold, intense bitterness and a sharp piney hop note on this DIPA.

this drinks like its 6% abv! crazy its as strong as it is, it feels bright and alive and easy drinking for a double, almost all the way clear too, but smells and tastes east coasty in that bitterness is moderate to low and the dry hopping is massive, accounting for what feels like most of the aroma and flavor from the hops. the beer is real well made overall, a little more refined than some others i have had from these guys in the past, and oddly distinct for mosaic and simcoe, a combination of hops we have all seen a million or more times. its cool how fresh and pungent these hops are, really a nice simultaneous expression of both varietals, but maybe a little more of the mosaic. pine and pineapple, grapefruit and lemon, honey and cut flowers too, a little fresh cereal barley underneath it, and the taste and the nose are essentially identical here. big juicy hop flavors more common in hazy beer, some oiliness to the feel, medium body, and radiant freshness. this is modern and professional and great, and its sneaky strength is still a mystery to me, this doesnt drink like that at all. i wish i had a little better access to the beers these guys are making, i have pretty much liked all ive had so far. this would be a fridge staple if it could for me, delicious!
