A new Hazy IPA featuring 2019 hand selected Strata & Citra hops. Going for an unrestrained, highly concentrated tropical fruit burst in the nose and on the palate, further compounded by oily Simcoe cryo hops.

Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery beer glass

A: Pours super hazy golden amber with a frothy eggshell white head that hangs around, slowly settling to a thick firm layer and leaves some nice lacing.

S: Still pretty green, grassy, spicy, kinda diesel thing going on, resinous pine, a little of the tropical fruit and citrus come through but not as much as you would expect, biscuity malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness.

T: Tropical and stone fruit, peach, apricot, passion fruit, mango, and a little strawberry, citrus, grapefruit, tangerine, and lemon, resinous pine, slight grassy and floral notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.

M: A little on the fuller side of medium body, moderate, carbonation, soft on the palate, but there's definitely a little hop burn.

O: A little more hop burn than I'd lake, but other than that it's a damn tasty NE style. Simcoe definitely helps keep it balanced.

Escape From Here pours a dark and hazy yellow with a full rocky, white head that lingers depositing some spotty lacing. the smell is juicy with tropical fruit and a small hop bite with a bit of "cattyness." It's smooth over the palette with that aforementioned "cattyness" that rolls into a tropical fruit with a hint of citrus flavors and a mild floral characteristics.

Cloudy pale yellow with an overly-massive soupy, yellowed head. It eventually gives way to thick, soapy lacing.

Citrus pith, grass and light dough in the nose.

Similar tasting with some grassy bitterness, a hint of toast and some mineral water.

Thick, lightly fizzy feel.

Very nice brew, but not a ton to differentiate it from the world of excellent NEIPAs available these days.
