Appearance - Pours hazy and berry red in color with a pinkish, half finger width head that dissipates within seconds, leaving behind a barren surface. No lacing.
Smell - Heavy berry fruit aroma. Blueberry and strawberry stand out on the nose, along with lesser raspberry. Blackberry gets a bit lost in the mix. Doesn't smell particularly tart.
Taste - Follows the nose. Toned-down tartness, instead relying on heavy berry fruit flavors; blueberry is prominent, with lesser strawberry and raspberry adding some pop. As in the nose, blackberry gets a bit buried behind the other flavors. Finish lingers with berry fruit and a light, tart bite.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with slightly bitey carbonation, but falls a bit flat and watery in the finish.
Overall - Lots of fruity berry flavor, but not particularly tart for a kettle sour. It's good, but I wouldn't spend what I spent on this single can again. There are better kettle sours out there for a buck or two cheaper.
