Triple Hazy IPA with vanilla and milk sugar. It's been hopped at an extraordinary 11 lbs per barrel and has tremendous depth and a rich, creamy character! Like hop oil ice cream.

Sweet vanilla, tropical hoppy, orange citrus, and hint of dank nose on this one! Taste follows with sweet, sweet vanilla upfront, then a tropical hoppy, sweet bitter swallow. Did I say "sweet?" Ha! As it warms a bit, the hoppiness becomes more muddled, unfortunately, and the sweet vanilla dominates the palate...it makes the finish taste slightly off-putting. And, it doesn't help that the depth and mouthfeel to this doesn't really fit the description that well. This is not creamy nor murky...for a triple with milk sugar and vanilla AND "milkshake" in it's name, I was expecting more body/creaminess. This was a miss for my beloved Alvarado Street Brewery.

L: Greenish yellow.
S: A bit of vanilla and citrus but mainly hops.
T: It's like an unfiltered beer with a creamy center that doesn't mix with an weird citrus finish.
F: Generic bad, rancid hoppy beer.
O: Do not recommend. It's better than Budweister but what isn't?

The beer is not very well put together. It's an alcohol bomb with too much vanilla and not enough of anything else. It could use more malo, and more spice.
