Pours a clear amber color with a fluffy two fingers of white foam. Head retention is good. Aroma is citrus, guava, tangerine, lemon zest and grapefruit with a spritzy tropical fruit aroma. Flavor profile is guava, lemon zest, grapefruit, and orange in a twangy, zangy mix. It has a twist of hop burn at the end that resides on the tongue throughout the finale of the flavor profile. Mouth feel is chalky with a little pulp texture wrapped up in a medium thickness consistency. Overall, tropical fruit heavy with a smooth DDH aroma followed by a sweet, but lightly hot, flavor profile.

L: clear amber, fluffy perfect head.
S: malt, honey, bread,
T: berries, citrus, pine, honey, booze.
F: medium.
Overall: initially didn’t realize it was a double ipa let alone a hefty 8.8%. It’s not bad but the booze is not well hidden. Pretty malty. Will be undrinkable as the hops mellow out with age. Reminds me a bit of Stone’s Enjoy by ___ beer.
