Sweet, light caramel toffee malty, hint of chocolate and hint of barrel nose on this one! Taste follows with a chocolate caramel raisin and toasty malty finish. This finishes a little thin on the palate...and there is a slight sour tart vibe on the backend. I had this on tap right when it came out and was hoping that it would be better out of the bottle. It actually was as the sour tart notes were more prominent in my draft pour. I hope this batch wasn't infected as I have one more bottle. I will sit on it for a while to see if things change for the better. This is decent and drinkable, but I was hoping for more from ASB pretty good barrel program.
