An amalgamation of the finest Nelson Sauvin & Galaxy hops along with an expressive fermentation is our newest juice offering. These hops are having quite the year, and we're running out of superlatives to articulate how ridiculously bright and punchy they are. Combined together is certainly a treat — if you're into the whole passion fruit funk / ripe mango / white wine / lychee / petrol dankness kind of thing. No centrifuge was harmed in making of this beer either...it's grit and heavy oil is fully conveyed from fermenter to can. Bust out those puka shells and give this skaze (sick haze) a go!

Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery Willi Beecher glass
A: Pours hazy peachy golden orange amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and leaves plenty of thick lacing.
S: Lively ripe tropical and exotic fruit, a little citrus, a touch of Southern Hem diesel, slightly floral, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Zesty mix of tropical and exotic fruit, gooseberry, passion fruit, apricot, mango, peach, white grape, citrus, grapefruit, and hints of lychee and pineapple, lemon lime, Southern Hem diesel, floral notes, a bit resinous and earthy, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: I enjoy Nelson hops, but I always like them best when they're held in check and not allowed to totally dominate a beer. Here they work nicely with the Galaxy providing a nice depth of flavors. I've been picking up more diesel from recent heavily Southern Hem hopped beers and it's not overwhelming here, but it is present. I'm sure will like/dislike it more than I do. Overall, really solid.
