New to the Dadz Dream Ridez series is this tribute to 1985’s inaugural IROC-Z version of the third generation Chevy Camaro. Featuring a tuned injection of Talus and Sabro cryo, along with high output Galaxy, Centennial and Simcoe hops. Blending a few classic hop varieties along with more modern ones has resulted in a very unique expression of lifesaver candies, ripe stone fruit, and fresh mountain pine. It’s sharply aromatic with sustained bitterness throughout to balance the malt and weighted body.

Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden orange amber with a frothy pale khaki head that settles to a firm layer and leaves plenty of nice lacing.
S: A little bit of everything going on, tropical and stone fruit, spicy resinous pine, citrus, a little coconut, herbal notes, biscuity bready malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Resinous spicy pine, followed with tropical and stone fruit, apricot, peach, papaya, under ripe pineapple, mango, passion fruit, and a hint of cherry, citrus, tangerine, grapefruit, lime, and lemon, herbal, slightly floral, coconut (and dare I say faint banana) come out as it warms, biscuity bready malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Sits on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: I'm not in love with the flavor combo, but I'm appreciating the balance of it. Plenty of pine and a sturdy malt backbone to keep the tropical notes, especially the coconut, in check. Their description is pretty spot on. Fun to take for a spin, but I'll let it drive off into the sunset.
