Super Collab with Pint House Brewing, Cloudburst Brewing, Green Cheek Brewing, Highland Park Brewery, and Cellarmaker Brewing
This IPA forgoes traditional bitterness in favor of a rounded juicy finish and a complex olfaction profile of fruit, citrus, pine and floral notes from the Simcoe and Mosaic Lupulin powder, and Citra hops. An incredibly drinkable, dank, and beautifully nuanced example of what can be done when you focus on the quality of the hop.

Alvarado’s take on the Pinthouse Pizza beer comes off as nearly identical in appearance. Low aroma, and it’s juicy but doesn’t burst with flavor. A little more crisp bite from the carbonation.

Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery Willi Beecher glass
A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy off white head that hangs around and slowly settles to light layer and leaves plenty of nice lacing.
S: Bright citrus, pine, underlying tropical and stone fruit, faintly grassy, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Resinous pine, zesty citrus, lemon, lime, grapefruit, and tangerine, underlying tropical and stone fruit, passion fruit, apricot, mango, and pineapple, faintly grassy, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderately lively carbonation up front, slightly creamy and soft on the palate.
O: There's something special about this one. Simple yet elegant, clean bitterness leads into a juicy body. Collabs with that many cooks in the kitchen can be hit or miss, but this was a bullseye.

Its good but different than other offerings from Alvarado, may be because it's a collab. Its a mild hazy IPA, light and refreshing. Good for a hot day. If you're looking for a lot of flavor this ain't fit you. Still good though.
