Pours a pale gold in color. Notes of papaya, sandalwood, pineapple on the nose. I get a muddled combination of a light pineapple and cedar character on the sip. Thin body, malt drops off. It’s …ok?

Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery Willi Beecher glass
A: Pours golden yellow with a little chill haze and a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and leaves plenty of thick lacing.
S: Zesty citrus leads the way, lots of ripe grapefruit/pomelo, a bit grassy, pine, faint woodsy notes, light tropical and stone fruit, biscuity malt, and a pretty dry finish.
T: Woodsy resinous pine, grassy, citrus zest, lemon, grapefruit, and lime, floral, and herbal notes, soft underlying fruity notes, peach, apricot, passion fruit, mango, and papaya, biscuity slightly bready malt, and finishes pretty dry.
M: Medium body, slightly prickly carbonation.
O: Most of the time this all comes together pretty solid (though not mind blowing), but there were a few sips where it came together in a way that reminded me a bit too much of cleaning products. Rare "meh" beer from ASB. Shame it had to be an anniversary beer.
