Featuring 100% Strata hops from Oregon, we took everything we loved about our Strata Pale Ale and aggressively ramped it up for your West Coast drinking pleasure. Heavily saturated with oils that yield a punchy floral dankness and flavors of tangerine flesh, grapefruit rind, and sweet berries layered over traces of peach and bergamot. A delicate malt sweetness sneaks through, but allows the hops to do all of the talking! A dry, clean finish is punctuated by a pleasant lingering bitterness and a stealthy alcoholic warmth.

Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery Willi Beecher glass
A: Pours golden yellow amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Herbal and resinous, slightly dank, zesty citrus, tropical and stone fruit, plus some strawberry, faint bubble gum, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Resinous, herbal, slightly dank, citrus, grapefruit, lemon, and orange, backed with tropical and stone fruit, passion fruit, peach, apricot, strawberry, mango, and a hint of pineapple, a touch of bubble gum, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Just a touch on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: I could tell from the first whiff out of the can that this was going to be a good one and it didn't disappoint. One of he better DIPAs I've had in a while. I've had some good and some just OK Strata beers that have kept me kind of on the fence with that hop, but his one has definitely sold me. Really nice balance and great intensity and depth of flavor pulled out of those Strata hops.

On tap at the source in Monterey - looks, smells and tastes like a mild west coast ipa. Deceptively easy to drink with a well hidden abv. Clean dryish finish with mild bitterness. Be careful with this one!

Canned on 7/22/22...Sweet tropical hoppy, hint of strawberry, and piney-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a clean and balanced, fruity hoppy bitter finish. As it opens up, that piney-dank bitter bite starts to linger and make itself known. Uhhh, I'm hesitant to say it, but, this is so clean and goes down so easy...dare I say crushable at 8.5%?! Good stuff!
