Our latest sick hazy is a high performance machine that is thoroughly layered with premium hops: Nelson Sauvin, Galaxy, Zeus & Strata. We’ve lowered the fermentation temperature for a more neutral, cleaner profile and let the hops ride for a longer contact time, all in conjunction with an enzyme that promotes biotransformation and boosts hop flavors and aromas. Profile on this is pretty crazy; we’re getting ripe mango, melon candy, pineapple and orange oil with a full, fluffy body and smooth mouthfeel with enough hop grit to balance everything out and prevent excess sweetness. A new chapter in our weekly evolution to bring you the juice!!

Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery Willi Beecher glass
A: Pours hazy golden orange amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Mix of juicy citrus, tropical, exotic, and stone fruit, a little earthy spice, slight green herbal notes, bubble gum, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Tropical, exotic, and stone fruit, gooseberry, pineapple, ripe apricot, strawberry, mango, papaya, white grape, passion fruit, melon, and peach, some citrus, orange, grapefruit, and lemon lime, spicy earthy herbal notes, bubblegum, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: On the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: First time I've had a Strata beer where the Strawberry really came through. That combined with the classic Nelson fruitiness and the tropical Galaxy notes make for a super unique flavor profile. Wouldn't mind either a few more IBUs or a bit less sweetness to help balance things, but that's about my only critique. Overall, really cool hazy DIPA that stands out in the crowd.

Yuuuumy! It's a citrus double IPA with a huge dank hop kick. It's just good. Def a "premium" brew, fill me with it ;)
