The imperial version of Mangonada! This beer is a local favorite and we find ourselves making room for it on our schedule more often. But ensuring that it is completely saturated with juicy, dripping from your chin, mango flavor is no small undertaking. It requires A LOT of high quality mango. We used nearly three thousand pounds in each batch. The result is pretty damn irresistible. If you want to take it to the next level though- we strongly suggest that you rim your glass with as much Tajin as it can hold.

Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery Willi Beecher glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a fizzy off white head that fairly quickly settles out and leaves virtually no lacing, maybe a few bubbles here and there.
S: Big mango nectar with some bonus fruity notes, mild lactic tartness, light floral notes, biscuity malt, and honey sweetness.
T: Ripe mango juice with extra fruity notes of tangerine, peach, and , faint floral notes, very mild lactic tartness, biscuity malt, and honey sweetness, with the faintest hint of alcohol poking out as it warms.
M: A touch on the fuller side of medium body, somewhat mild carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: Delivers tons of juicy mango with just enough tartness to keep it from getting cloying. I would love to see them do a version with the Tajin already mixed in to add an extra dimension, but since that doesn't exist yet, I'll have to follow their instructions with my next can.

Mucho Mangonada, the big brother to Alvarado’s Mangonada.
From the can it pours thin at first, with a foamy cap that instantly dissipates. Some sludge at the end give it heft.
Mango bomb on the nose, with a sweet, slightly tart acidity on the sip.
