A four way collaboration with our good friends Cloudburst, Cellarmaker Brewing, Green Cheekbeer & Pinthouse Brewing. Born out of another IPA you may have heard of (Space Dust), Cloudburst’s Founder & Head Brewer, Steve Luke, was kind enough to take us on a journey that has lead to his current iteration, Cosmic Lust. Steve also happens to be one of the greatest “beer” writers of all time, so we think you should read his own words:
“Oh, what Dusty once was. He was vibrant! He was juicy! He was rough around the edges, with a little bite, and yet still balanced and approachable. Everybody loved him, and even more do today. Sure, he still looks the same – but his old friends know that he’s changed. He’s bigger now, a little less interesting – dull and dumbed down. He says money and opportunity haven’t changed him….Ok. But to those who remember what once was, this Lust’s for you.”
We’re thrilled to try our hand at this legendary Pacific Northwest IPA, loaded with Galaxy, Citra, Simcoe, Amarillo & Chinook hops. It opens with a spray of tangerine oil that settles into a pool of sticky peach nectar. Notes of mango and papaya add a surprising tropical depth. Just as things start to lean sweet- a smooth but substantial bitterness infused with grapefruit and pine provides a satisfying balance. Delicious and dangerously drinkable!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
