This year we sourced over 100lbs of fresh, whole cone El Dorado hops from CLS Farms in Yakima, WA that went from field to our kettle at ASB Carmel in less than 48 hours! We also threw in some of our coveted stash of frozen Simcoe hops for good measure. Wet hop beers present with layers of nuanced flavor that can only be captured in a beer once a year, and this one does not disappoint. As this 6.7% IPA unfolds in the glass, you will be treated to pear drops, gummy bears, lychee, pine, guava and key lime. A slight fresh hop edge livens up an otherwise composed bitterness, and the finish has a luxurious stretch thanks to the COPIOUS amounts of palate coating hop oils! This one is a banger y’all!
