West Coast IPA is Dead is intentionally crafted with very little malt presence in order to let the hops express themselves at their fullest potential! Our iteration is dry hopped liberally with Simcoe and Citra for full saturation of American hop character from sniff to swallow. Tangerine, grapefruit, blueberry, stone fruit, mango, passion fruit, and a floral dankness will definitely grab your attention and a dry WC finish will be pullin' you back! Brewed in collaboration with Green Cheek Beer Co, Cellarmaker Brewing, Cloudburst Brewing , Pinthouse Brewing & Cloudwater Brewing, because making beer is great, but making it with your friends is even better!

Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery pint glass
A: Pours faintly hazy golden amber with an eggshell white head that slowly settles to a firm layer and leaves some thick lacing.
S: Earthy herbal slightly dank, citrus peel, pine, subtle underlying tropical and stone fruit, slightly toasty bready malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness.
T: Earthy slightly dank herbal and floral notes, citrus, orange, lemon, and a touch of grapefruit, tropical and stone fruit, overripe mango, apricot, passion fruit, peach, and blueberry, some resinous pine, bready malt, and dry finish.
M: Just a touch on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: Really not what I was expecting going in. It's got some nice qualities, but the earthy notes and bready malt hold this one back for me.

Sweet tropical hoppy and a piney, citrus-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a super clean, piney-dank bitter finish. Simcoe and Citra play well together here...with a nice amount of bitterness on the backend. This is delicious!
