In honor of Wolf Moon 2023 we present some serious skaze! The excitement behind our hops right now admittedly has the best of us. And it's on full display here in double dry hopped form. A cunning pack of Zeus, Mosaic, and Nelson hops are ready to battle it out and reign supreme over your palate. An assertive tropical blast chases after a voracious citrus rush, hidden in a dense fog of gooseberry and diesel. peach nectar and blueberry take hold as the circle tightens.

This was my favorite canned beer of the March Madness 2023 lineup. Pours a hazy yellow orange like color. Good retention white head 1/2" in depth. Aroma pops of dank Mosaic and Nelson hops, sweet berries, weed strains, guava, garlic, onion. After a majority of beers were barrel aged, it was nice to hit something up delivering a heavy hop dose.

The taste and mouthfeel offered a creamy texture, lower bitterness, high hop dank diesel delivery system. White grape, blackberries, weed medley, passion fruit, citrus and diesel fumes. Its juicy but not fruit juicy if that makes sense. Still has a bittering hop like edge to it. Not trubby, body stays light even if it has that flaked wheat rolled oats body. Alvarado is definitely a hoppy gem on the coastline. Seems like nobody really talks about them much.

There is a light sweetness minority interplay with the majority dankness that works nicely and uniquely enough. Slow down little jaguar.

Can poured into an Alvarado Street Brewery Willi Beecher glass

A: Pours hazy golden orange amber with a frothy eggshell white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.

S: Southern Hem diesel, resinous pine, zesty citrus, exotic, tropical and stone fruit, herbal spice, bready malt, and a little caramel sweetness.

T: Opens with Southern Hem diesel, followed a mix of citrus, exotic, tropical, and stone fruit, tangerine, Nelson gooseberry, blueberry, peach, apricot, lime, white grape, papaya, grapefruit, and a hint of pineapple, some resinous pine, spicy herbal notes, bready malt, and caramel sweetness.

M: Full body, moderate carbonation, might be the thickest feeling NEIPA I've ever had.

O: Super complex. Pretty sure they pulled out just about every flavor these hops have to offer. There's a lot going on, yet it has a very unique balance between dank, fruity, and resinous.
